A few years ago, a renowned violinist’s priceless instrument went missing after a concert. Authorities launched an international search. But what convinced investigators it was truly gone? Not just the empty case, but the changed behavior of the musician—his silence, his sorrow, the loss in his eyes. The violin wasn’t found, but the man’s reaction was proof enough.
The same is true with Jesus. The body was never found. But the world has never been the same.

Long before Christianity spread, historians and skeptics were already writing about Jesus:
- Tacitus, a Roman historian, noted that “Christus… suffered the extreme penalty under Pontius Pilate.”
- Josephus, a Jewish historian, mentioned Jesus’ crucifixion and alleged resurrection appearances.
- Caiaphas, the high priest who presided at Jesus’ trial, has an ossuary (bone box) that dates to the time of Christ—confirming the setting.

And most compelling: the apostles and early Christians, who died as martyrs, proclaiming they had seen the risen Christ. Who dies for a lie they invented?
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:6 that Jesus appeared to “more than 500 brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive”—an open invitation to fact-check.
